Are Google Android mobile phones slowly but surely taking over the mobile phone world?

Android have been about for some time now, long enough you would think in which they would have enough knowledge to develop a handset that's capable of inflicting some form of serious damage on the iPhone. Well only lately they have managed to do this and this was using the release of the HTC Desire HD. As far as product sales go we don't have specific figures but we do know that in the United Kingdom the shops that had the handsets for sale didn't have enough stock to fulfill customer demand.

So you can safely say that Google Android handsets at the moment are starting to get to the light at the end of a lengthy, Apple iPhone dominated tunnel. Android at first was practically exclusicve to HTC but lately we have seen the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S released which is in a number of ways every bit as good as the Desire HD and in others not as good, but still it's a cracking mobile and there have already been a few other's launched such as computer giants Dell's first dip into the mobile/smart phone market with the Dell Streak, which it is safe to say is one hell of a smartphone. It's got an extremely big screen measuring up to be 5 inches bang on. Some going that for a phone screen, but Dell being Dell don't do things by half really. I mean this phone is virtually a laptop, although not just any old laptop, a laptop smaller than your shoe!

In the event you might quite like one of these mobile phones, regardless of whether it's a HTC or a new Dell or whatever you're sure to find some really good Android deals around on the high-street, because there are several budget Android handsets just like the Wildfire and also some of the more 'top of the range' mobile phones such as the HTC Desire HD.
